		<description>This is a great article.  I agree with everything it explores as reasons for human inaction in relation to the environment. I think another very important factor is money. Much of the destruction going on world wide is due to the money it brings people who lack alternative sources of income. Its true of us middleclassers too...case in point using less gas now that it is too expensive, not because its better for the environment. I think until we can make environmental destruction unprofitable we will not see enough change.</description>
